Subtypes of Eczema

Eczema has several subtypes such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis (also called cradle cap among infants), dyshidrotic (hand) eczema, etc.

Atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis) is the most common type, also known as one of the toughest to manage!

There are many different triggers that cause eczema to flare up. Genetics, foods, weather change, humidity, contacts allergens, skin irritants, dust mites, stress, to name a few. While eczema is defined as rash that itches, its appearance for different subtypes varies drastically. Because eczema is so complex, it is difficult to have a singular product that can manage all types of eczema.

At LEMYKA, our technical team has been working on eczema for years, we have developed a series of products using different technologies. Some focus on skin barrier restoration, others relieve intense itching. Some such as LEMYKA hydrating cream is best for eczema babies, whereas our calming cream is more suitable for adults. Be sure to read through the features of each LEMYKA product and find the right solutions for your skin condition.

If you are still uncertain, contact us. We love to talk about our products and explain the differences between the creams and lotions, as well as directions on how to get the best results.
